Welcome to South Metro Sports! (Formerly South Metro Ice N Inline)

The Washington Township recreation center that brought Year-Round Ice Skating to the Miami Valley, has just completed construction on the addition of new Basketball and Volleyball Courts.

The addition of 3 full-length basketball courts and 4 regulation volleyball courts feature AAU/NBA approved Sport Court flooring. This addition enhances South Metro’s sports offerings while continuing our philosophy of providing a “family friendly” atmosphere for kids of all ages. We are currently hosting several local High School, Middle School and Youth basketball and volleyball programs.

Our facility, courts and ice rink are available for private rentals, clinics, parties, church groups, games, private leagues, broomball and training camps throughout the year.

In addition to “year-round” Public Ice Skating, we offer “Learn To Skate” programs, Free Style figure skate times, Broomball, Drop-In Hockey, and Stick & Puck. We also offer the best in High School Hockey action being the home ice to 4 local High School teams, as well as the Springboro Youth Hockey program.
